Deals with experienced commercial real estate professionals are secured by leveraging our institutional network of industry relationships built by the 4 Degrees Real Estate team. 4 CAP acquires, develops, builds, leases, and manages multifamily real estate in the western United States. We offer accredited investors the opportunity to build a commercial real estate portfolio and gain exclusive access to our institutional-quality multifamily investments, delivering highly attractive risk-adjusted returns.

David Guthrie
President
David Guthrie served as president of a public commercial real estate finance and investment company, with operations throughout the Western United States. He has assembled and managed entitlement, design, and construction teams for projects with combined retail values estimated at over $150 million. Prior experience also includes management of global real estate operations for an electronic manufacturing company, with nearly 6,000 employees. Mr. Guthrie is a former Licensed Securities Broker-Dealer, holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington, and a master’s degree from Gonzaga University. He lives in Spokane, and has three grown children, Wayne, Lauren, and Garrett.
Joel Tampien
Chief Executive Officer
Joel Tampien is an Army veteran. Acting as the Senior Logistics Advisor for his Special Forces Battalion, Joel acquired the discipline and dynamic leadership skills distinct to military officers, leading hundreds of soldiers and managing multi-million-dollar budgets. After graduating from Whitworth University and spending 6 years in the military, he transitioned to the Army Reserves. He then co-founded 4 Degrees Real Estate with his older brother Jordan. Joel brings his background of leadership and tactical problem solving to his role as the CEO of 4 Degrees. He lives in Spokane with his wife Julie and their three children Beau, Bailey, and Ben.

Jordan Tampien is a serial entrepreneur in real estate, hospitality, and fitness. He has
successfully developed real

$100,000,000. In addition to
development, he has facilitated
more than $650,000,000 in real
estate sales. His experience led
to a belief that he should build
something different: which is
the genesis of 4 Degrees
Capital. Holding a wealth of
accumulated experience, along
with an MA in Business
Administration and a Law
Degree from Gonzaga, Jordan is
passionate about developing
real estate that catalyzes
communities and brings people
together. Jordan lives in
Spokane with his wife, Whitney,
and their daughter, Logan.
